A tone can be defined as the difference in density of saturation perceptible without any simultaneous comparison. Developing harmonious blends of tones, influenced by the endless combinations of glacis, wear, mat or brilliancy, making a colour react by alliance or opposition to another, the actual combination of each tone is a scrupulous study we master to a quarter-tone.
Our workshop masters traditional techniques and applies them to today’s projects. Painting with rabbit skin glue is an example of a very ancient technique (collagen is extracted from decanting animal skins). The quality of this glue cannot be replaced by synthetic products. We never stop at industrial or standard products.
In order not to compromise, we are constantly experimenting.
